Meeting up needs an occasion. On lingr that is either an event anyone can come to – or an invitation to a few.

Public event
Anyone can come. You only say that you will be there – nobody has to let you in.
- Festivals, Pride, club nights, concerts, marches, running groups.
- Photo, place and the exact distance: all of it is open.
- Signing up is enough. Everyone sees the address and the map.
- Once checked in, you see who else is actually there.

Private event

- You apply instead of signing up. The host approves.
- The exact address only once you are accepted. Until then the map shows a shifted point that cannot be uncovered.

Sign up for public events, apply for private ones. Every event has its own chat.

Check in on site and see who else is there. Your presence expires on its own.

Checking in shows you which of the other queer men and couples are at the same event right now. You can talk to them on the spot — no detour through a chat.
